VoiceTeX + Chrome

What works today
Every text field in the browser accepts dictation, because the app pastes into the window in front. Overleaf, a web editor, an email, a form — none of them needs to know VoiceTeX exists.
What the extension will add
The browser extension comes with Premium: you download the .zip from your account, unzip it and load it into Chrome by hand — it is not in the Chrome Web Store yet, so it does not update itself. It talks to the desktop app through a local bridge, on 127.0.0.1, and that bridge is the delicate part: a server on your own machine can be reached by any page open in your browser. So pairing requires a six-digit code shown in the app, no command runs without the token that approval hands out, and after a refusal the app stops answering for ten minutes — a page cannot ask until you give in. Without that, a malicious page could start your microphone.
Getting there

- 3Press Ctrl+Alt+D, say the formula, press again.
